September 2020 - Year 12 Students 

Supported Senior Study

Time/Location:

• Upstairs in the Library on Wednesday afternoons during Terms 2 & 3
• 2.30 - 2.45pm hot chocolate, biscuits and chips
• 2.45 - 4.15pm supervised quiet study and/or homework

Procedures:

• A place for quiet individual study. No pairs, groups etc. Normal library conditions will apply.
• Students may sign in and out during the supervised time. However, once a student signs out they are not to return, unless prior arrangements have been made.
• Teachers are there for supervision and encouragement. They can assist with general queries about study, exam technique etc. It is not a time for tutoring of individuals or groups rather for quiet "point in the right direction" advice.
• Individual or group tutorials can be organised in the Learning Support Rooms at anytime after school. Supervision of these tutorials is the responsibility of the class teacher.
• The supported senior study is not to replace the current Monday and Wednesday Maths tutorials. Students may attend either or both of these supported activities.
